Sawaed Jo Training Program was introduced as part of the government’s economic support program for young employment, which was funded by the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD) and implemented by Competence Management Consulting Company (CMC), which seeks to train 200 young men and women in Ain Ghazal and West Irbid for professions connected to working in the water construction industry and projects carried out by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority.

The graduation ceremony of the first group of trainees represented a significant milestone for Sawaed Jo Training Program last week. The training and graduation were held at JEA Zarqa in the presence of representatives from the EBRD, CMC, JEA Amman, JEA Zarqa, WAJ, and the contractor.

Competence Management Consulting (CMC) continues to conduct in-depth diagnostics for Start-ups, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) that applied for support from BGA-USAID as part of the USAID Business Growth Activity (BGA) project.

The diagnostic process identifies the enterprises gaps that prevent growth in the current and potential markets, demonstrates the enterprise’s capacity for growth, and offers a Growth Readiness Assessment (GRA) Index as a measure of growth readiness level. The diagnostic process is carried out by CMC management consultants and experts, covering the key growth pillars of Leadership, Strategy, Procurement & Logistics, Operations, Marketing & Sales, Customer Service, HR, and Finance to identify the strengths and weaknesses in these areas and provide a customized growth action plan that the enterprise needs to achieve growth. The USAID Business Growth Activity (BGA) project will provide direct firm-level assistance to the businesses through a number of evidence-based interventions to help them grow operations, increase employment, sales, and exports, and thereby contribute to the development of a sustainable business growth environment in Jordan

HimayaTech incubator has started a training and coaching sessions with Competence Management Consulting for a new group of incubated Cyber Security Start-ups. “Disciplined Entrepreneurship” and “Access to Markets” will be covered in the training in order to increase the start-ups’ capacity and improve their skills in these areas

HimayaTech is a specialized incubator under the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) that is solely focused on fostering the success of Jordanian cybersecurity businesses. This is the second wave of start-up businesses; during the first wave, CMC offered training and coaching that was specifically tailored to the needs of the start-ups.

The new Olive Oil Brand Identity is unveiled during a launching ceremony on August 23rd under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture Eng. Khaled Al-Hanaifat, The Ministry of Agriculture and The National Agriculture Research Centre in partnership with the private sector, represented by the General Syndicate of Jordanian Olive Oil Mills Owners and Olive Producers and the Jordanian Association of Exporters of Olive Products (JOPEA) and its members. The creation of the brand identity is a component of a larger project that CBI and its local partner Competence Management Consulting are engaged in, export promotion and sustainable olive oil sector development.

CBI stands for the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries, which is a division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl). The goal of CBI is to link SMEs in developing nations with the European market and thereby support inclusive and sustainable economic growth. In Jordan, Competence Management Consulting is the primary local CBI project implementer. With the overall goal of transforming Jordan’s olive oil sector into a business-oriented, high-quality, and sustainable value chain with a compelling country brand, CBI has launched an olive oil sector programme between September 2020 and August 2024.

The team of experts at Competence Management Consulting, specialized in the field of Brand Identity and export promotion, contributed to the development of this Brand Identity which expresses the quality and distinction Jordanian olive oil, through a series of workshops with stakeholders in the sector that were held between 2020 and 2022.

تم إطلاق الشعار الوطني والهوية التسويقية لزيت الزيتون الأردني خلال حفل خاص تحت رعاية معالي وزير الزراعة م. خالد الحنيفات الأكرم ووزارة الزراعة والمركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية بالشراكة مع القطاع الخاص ممثلة بالنقابة العامة لأصحاب المعاصر ومنتجي الزيتون الأردنية والجمعية الأردنية لمصدري منتجات الزيتون في 23 أب 2022. يعد إنشاء الشعار الوطني والهوية التسويقية لزيت الزيتون الأردني أحد مخرجات مشروع أكبر ينفذه CBI  وبالتعاون مع شركة التفوق للاستشارات الإدارية بهدف ترويج الصادرات وتطوير قطاع زيت الزيتون الأردني.

CBI  هو مركز تعزيز الواردات من البلدان النامية ، وهو قسم من وزارة الشؤون الخارجية ووكالة المشاريع الهولندية، ويهدف الى ربط الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في الدول النامية بالسوق الأوروبية وبالتالي دعم النمو الاقتصادي الشامل والمستدام. في الأردن. تعتبر شركة التفوق للاستشارات الإدارية المنفذ المحلي الأساسي لبرنامج CBI ، حيث أطلق برنامج لتطوير قطاع زيت الزيتون عام 2020 ويستمر حتى 2024.
